It is a comfortable day's sailing from both Dingle marina (44 nautical miles) and Kilrush marina (35 nautical miles). Set in magnificent scenery in the heart of County Kerry, Tralee is the premier tourist destination in Ireland. Fenit itself is located approximately 12 km from the centre of Tralee town, with local taxis and buses available to shuttle you between Fenit and Tralee. It is a convenient base for visiting inland tourist towns such as Tralee and Killarney (30 miles). The Kerry Regional Airport is just 30 km from Fenit with several daily connections to Shannon and Cork airports.
